The Goods is a men's accessories line based in Los Angeles.
We were tasked to create the brand strategy, photographic style, brand guideline, logo, packaging design and art direction.
"Born and Raised in the Streets of Los Angeles, The Goods are Made for The Modern Man. Strong yet Sophisticated, Savvy yet Simple, our Style deals in Substance."
The Goods' mission is to provide its audience with everyday essentials that meet at the intersection of form & function.
Branded Video
Accessories do not typically need to be released on a seasonal basis. Therefore, we decided to created branded episodes to showcase The Goods' accessories in everyday use. We thought that would connect with their audience much better than releasing seasonal branded videos. The episodes will follow a small segment of "The Good Man," in which he uses right accessories for each occasion.


Packaging
The packaging is decidedly simple and low key, very similar to the design ideology of The Goods. Clear foil is used in many applications to represent details that are usually not seen at first glance, but you wouldn't be able to take your eyes off once you catch them.
Brand Development
The Goods came to us with an idea for their products lines and we took everything they gave us to develop this new brand. We were a part of this brand from the very beginning - brainstorming, brand attributes, brand strategy, and brand guidelines to start. We followed it up with logo design and identity systems. This allowed The Goods to focus on what they are very good at - product design and manufacturing - and did not need to worry about which direction the brand would go.
The logo is a modern calligraphic style to represent the idea of a modern gentleman, a man who combines the traditional sense of a gentleman - knowledgeable, sophisticated, and stylish with modernity that includes tech savvy, fun, and a little raw.
