The design takes on a type treatment direction that plays with the Penrose Triangle perspective, which also conveys the concept of taking what has already existed but see it in a brand new way. The custom designed alphabets were later completed for an extended localization need.
Get Happy
This is a cross-media promotions in collaboration with iTunes Movies. This collection includes nonfiction and fiction titles focusing on helping readers bring more happiness into their lives. The design is build upon the idea that happiness is a state of mind. By using the colorful blurs to set the happy mood while the vast and airy background provide a soothing openness.
French Noir
This design features classic French Noir film background in black and white juxtaposed with modern lettering for the title treatment. It captures the dark, gritty, yet alluring noir atmosphere using abstract imagery and mysterious lighting.
Time Travel Fiction
The vortex image is the representation of the time-travel portal. By combining the futuristic sci-fi image with a vintage, nostalgic analog clock, the juxtaposition creates a impactful visual contrast that's dreamy, surreal, and evolving.

The design is a highly simplified and abstract representation of the turning pages. The angled layering pages also create movement and reflect the fast pacing, spine chilling theme of the featured books.
